Heading to Somewhere

When we were young

thousands of ways,

lay luring, exciting,

promising dreams

unknown.

But now, we walk day by day,

arriving and leaving,

turning and choosing,

restlessly driven

ahead.

One day, we will reach

an empty desert,

simple and vast,

nowhere will be left

to go.
