Deportation – Friday Fictioneers

The door did not open. He looked on the screen of his glasses. “Access denied, please contact the caretaker service”. “Why can I not enter, it’s my apartment!”

“Just follow the navigation!” Instructions appeared. “I hate this system” he thought, “and I will say it loudly again!”

But he followed the way indicated. He had never been here before. A door opened at a tunnel’s end. Bright sunlight. He stepped out on a metal platform. The door behind him closed. He was out above a garbage heap.

“Welcome to our world” somebody said below him, “the world of the deported!”
