Where we are

Comparing sizes

How large we really are

and how very small

Obviously, the universe is not about us. We have emerged from it and we will disappear in it. But what counts for us is our own world. What counts for us are all of us. From our point of view, most of the rest of the universe is unimportant. And this subjective and inter-subjective point of view is the primary one for us. From the universe’s point of view there is no meaning of life. But from our point of view there is.

The universe does not care about us, nor does the micro-world. Instead, we must care for this our world, at the human scale, and care for each other.

But how fascinating, interesting and in large parts also very beautiful this universe is! Look at this http://scaleofuniverse.com/ and have fun.
